Kilimanjaro National Park is a Tanzanian national stop, found 300 kilometers (190 mi) south of the equator[1] and in Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania. The recreation center is situated close to the city of Moshi.[3] The recreation center incorporates the entire of Mount Kilimanjaro over the tree line and the encompassing montane backwoods belt over 1,820 meters (5,970 ft).[1][3] It covers a range of 1,688 square kilometers (652 sq mi), 2°50'–3°10'S scope, 37°10'–37°40'E longitude.[1] The recreation center is directed by the Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA).[4]
The recreation center created US $51 million in income in 2013,[5]:285 the second-a large portion of any Tanzanian national park,[6]:258 and was one of just two Tanzanian national parks to produce a surplus amid the 2012-13 spending plan year.[7] (The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which incorporates the intensely went to Ngorongoro Crater, is not a national stop.)
